A plain screen recording looks flat and boring. This doesn’t try to emulate a CRT display. It emulates filming one. Point a camera at an old TV and you get a whole set of artifacts that only appear in that camera-to-screen capture chain. This plugin recreates that chain.
It’s a creative tool, not a broadcast-accurate simulation, built to give your footage that “shot off a CRT” character, whether that’s a subtle vintage warmth or full analog decay.
Works especially well on text animation and motion graphics, and gives pixel art the “captured on tape” look people usually need a game engine or archival footage to get.
What the camera picks up
Three mask types, and progressive or interlaced scan.
The same letter on each, then the same pixel art.

I grew up in Nepal and I want editors there to be able to afford these tools. So people living in Nepal pay a local price in rupees through eSewa. Everyone else pays in US dollars. If you’re abroad and love the work, paying the dollar price helps me keep making it.
